Ms. Moseley is the youngest-ever recipient of this award, which includes her as one of the poets of the prestigious Walt Whitman Birthplace “Long Island School of Poetry.” Past honorees include many nationally prominent poets, whose names are engraved on a plaque within the Walt Whitman Birthplace Interpretive Center.
